The Changan UNI-V is a compact car/ small family car produced by the Chinese automaker Changan. It is the third product of the UNI-series and the first fastback of the series. The UNI-V was first unveiled during the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show and has been in production since 2021. Body and Chassis

  • The UNI-V iDD, launched in April 2024, is the plug-in hybrid version featuring an upgraded powertrain and redesigned bumpers. The iDD system consists of a 1.5-liter engine and a front-positioned electric motor, mated to an E-CVT gearbox. The engine has a maximum power output of 81 kW and a peak 143 Nm, while the electric motor develops 158 kW and 330 Nm. The top speed of the UNI-V iDD is 185km/h, and the 0 to 100km/h acceleration time is 6.9 seconds. The battery is an 18.99kWh or 18.4kWh lithium iron phosphate providing a CLTC pure electric range of 136km, while the combined CLTC range is 1,160km. Charging from 30% to 80% takes 30 minutes under DC fast charging.

  • The interior design of the UNI-V adopts a 3+1 quadruple screen layout design. The hovering instrument panel is placed above the steering wheel, displaying high-frequency interactive information such as speed and navigation.

  • The UNI-V comes with pop-out door handles as standard and is available in two versions: the Sport and the Premium, each with distinct design details.
  • The interior is stylish and original, with an oval-shaped steering wheel, a 10.3-inch instrument panel, and a 10.3-inch touch screen. There are also physical buttons and switches, and the sport seats are designed with black faux leather and orange stitching.

  • UNI-V is equipped with infrared and RGB cameras for facial recognition, allowing for automatic login to the car's ecosystem apps and personalized vehicle settings.
  • It also offers AI active services, including专属问候, 视线亮屏, fatigue driving reminders, and media volume adjustments during phone calls. Gesture recognition can be used to switch music and navigate home.
